Some time ago a man came to us with pain and paralysis in his shoulders and arms. The mid-thirties told his story: a few weeks earlier he had gone away with friends to celebrate. The night after his return he woke up with extreme neck pain radiating to his shoulder. The left arm was also a bit numb towards morning, which caused him great anxiety. He had no previous illnesses. The medical on-call service was able to rule out a circulatory problem, and a naturopath friend of mine set some vertebrae in place.
