Inbar Lizmi never used to care too much about photos. Today her living room is filled with pictures of a young man smiling sheepishly: Michael in Barcelona, ​​Michael doing military service, Michael at his wedding in 2021. Michael on the cover of a condolence book. Every day Lizmi lights a candle for Michael, 28, her only son, the kind brother of three sisters, the faithful husband, the new father.

The 53-year-old with long, rusty brown hair baked cakes, made tea and gathered her courage. She wants to talk about the day her family’s heart was taken away from her.
