Singer Helene Fischer sees her accidents before and during her tour last year as fateful. “This tour was full of unforeseen things. I once suffered a broken rib, I had the accident,” said Fischer (39) on Saturday evening in the ARD live show “Schlagerchampions 2024” in conversation with the moderator – and her ex- Partner – Florian Silbereisen.
“My motto in life is actually to always trust the universe and to know that things in life come because they have to come and some sign will guide us. And that’s actually the case for me in both cases, I really have to say that. ” She also said to everyone who was worried: “It was good for something and I learned from it.”
Fischer also sang a medley of her older hits on the show, such as “The Hell Tomorrow Morning” and “And Tomorrow Morning I’ll Kiss You Awake”. The pop singer had to postpone concerts in the spring because she broke a rib during rehearsals for her show. In June she injured her face while doing a trapeze exercise and had to cancel the concert.
Fischer and Silbereisen were considered a hit dream couple
In the show, which took place again for the first time after a three-year Corona break, a few personal moments between Fischer and Silbereisen delighted fans. In response to a fan question as to whether Fischer now has to keep fit until her next tour in 2026, the singer said that she also likes to enjoy it – and turned to Silbereisen: “I love cooking, as you know.” He then replied that in the future they could practically compete in cooking. “Yes, I know. You’ve already caught up quite a bit, my dear heavens,” Fischer said happily and immediately followed up with an invitation: “Come over for a coffee again, right?”
For fans, Silbereisen and Fischer were the dream couple of the German music scene for years. Fischer is now in a relationship with the acrobat Thomas Seitel and is the mother of a small daughter.
