The Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 have reached the semi-finals of the water polo league in a quick run. One day after the 25:5 success, the record champions also managed their second best-of-three win in the second game in a 21:6 (5:1, 4:2, 6:1, 6:2) against Krefeld 72.
Of the nine goalscorers for the water friends, Bilal Gbadamassi with five goals, Matteo Cuk, Zoran Bozic and Marin Restovic (3 each) were the most successful. The Berliners will now meet the winner of the quarter-final duel between Ludwigsburg 08 and the White Sharks Hannover in the Best of Three semi-finals (April 19/April 22/April 23).
