For Hailey Bieber (26), the year 2023 started anything but easy, as the model explains. As an adult, she has never gone through such difficult moments as in the past few months, Bieber shares in her stories on Instagram. “I like to joke about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m going through a difficult time,” writes Justin Bieber’s (29) wife.
Since the beginning of 2023, she has experienced “some of the saddest and toughest moments” that she has had in her adulthood – “and my mind and emotions were fragile to say the least”. She knows that many other people often feel the same way. So she wants her almost 50 million followers to know that they are not alone. Bieber wants everyone to be there for each other, whether it’s family, friends or strangers: “We’re better together.”
What prompted the 26-year-old to post is unclear. In March, however, it became public that Bieber had received death threats. She got in touch with Selena Gomez (30), her husband’s ex-girlfriend. The two are said to not get along very well. Shortly before, you were again the focus of a social media debate alongside reality TV star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner (25). “That’s not what I stand for. Nobody should have to go through hate or bullying. I’ve always stood up for kindness and I really want it all to stop,” Gomez wrote in an Instagram story, among other things.
In the past year, Bieber has also struggled with health problems. In March 2022, she suffered a “mini stroke,” as she explained in detail in a YouTube video. An ultrasound test also revealed a small opening in her heart that had to be surgically closed. On Instagram, she also made it public in November in another story that she had a cyst on her ovary “the size of an apple”.
