Queen Consort Camilla’s son, 75, has apparently defended his mother against allegations made by Prince Harry, 38. She just “married the person she loves,” author Tom Parker Bowles (48) explained in the “The News Agents” podcast.

He said: “I think change happens, but I don’t care what anyone says – that wasn’t an endgame. She married the person she loved and that’s it.”

In his autobiography “Reserve”, which was published in January, and in interviews about it, Prince Harry described Camilla as “dangerous”, among other things. He claimed she sacrificed him and his brother, heir apparent Prince William, 40, for her “campaign” – as part of a “long game” aimed at marriage and the crown for Camilla, according to Harry’s allegations.

Camilla will be crowned with her husband King Charles (74) in Westminster Abbey on May 6th. When asked if his mother was nervous ahead of the event, Parker Bowles told podcast hosts Emily Maitlis, 52, and Jon Sopel, 63, according to the Guardian, that it was “tough” to have such a role at the ceremony to take over, but she never complained.

“I think anyone would be nervous at an event of this historical significance,” said Tom Parker Bowles. He himself, at least, would be anxious, he explained. His mother is 75 years old and it is a big task. “But she never complained.” You make it easy. He also said it wasn’t really strange for him to introduce himself to Camilla as “the queen” because “she’s still our mother”.

Like Charles, who was married to Princess Diana (1961-1997) from 1981 to 1996, Camilla has two children from a previous marriage: Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes (45) are from her relationship with Andrew Parker Bowles (83). She was married to him from 1973 to 1995. King Charles and Camilla’s wedding took place in 2005.

At the coronation on May 6, Prince Harry will meet his stepmother for the first time since he made his allegations against Camilla. The Duke of Sussex is traveling from his adopted home of California for the ceremony. His wife, Duchess Meghan, 41, and the couple’s two children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, remain in the United States.
