In the coming days, Rostock will host a meeting point for the cruise industry. From Monday to Wednesday, the Cruise Baltic Meeting will deal with the development of cruise shipping in the Baltic Sea, the construction and use of shore power plants and sustainable tourism offers for cruise visitors in the port cities, as Rostock Port GmbH announced on Saturday. Dozens of experts from 26 cruise ports on the Baltic Sea and from shipping companies are expected to attend the meeting. “We are very pleased to welcome our partners from 25 cruise ports around the Baltic Sea, from Aarhus to Visby, in the port city of Rostock,” said the Managing Director of Rostock Port GmbH, Jens Aurel Scharner.
