Toni Garrn recently announced on Instagram that she and her husband, actor Alex Pettyfer, are now going their separate ways. For their daughter Luca, they both want to continue to be there together as parents. The separation comes as a surprise, after all, the two only said yes for the second time last summer.
In Greece, they renewed their vows, previously the two had already married in Garrn’s hometown of Hamburg. Pettyfer recently shot for the film “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”, recently caused a stir with a comment on his colleague Eiza González’s Instagram profile. “The epitome of chic movie star. Eiza González, see you next time. Whoever the photographer was, these photos are beautiful,” he wrote, captioning his comment with a white heart emoji. The comments below his comment almost all go in the same direction. “You couldn’t even have waited until the news of your divorce broke before making that comment?” wrote one. Garrn himself liked Pettyfer’s post.
Ultimately, only the two of them know the reasons behind the separation. For both Garrn and Pettyfer, this isn’t the first relationship to go badly public. The Brit was in a relationship with “Glee” star Dianna Agron in the past, but the relationship didn’t last long. There was talk of infidelity. According to media reports, Agron is said to have been afraid of Pettyfer after the love-off. However, his spokesman denied these rumours.
A little later he tied up with Elvis’ granddaughter Riley Keough, to whom he even became engaged. “She was the first woman in my life I fell in love with at first sight,” he said in a 2018 interview with “Radio Andy”. “I just looked at her and she looked at me and I was like, ‘Wow. I think I’m in love’.”
Garrn has also made headlines with her relationships. Most of it when she was dating Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio. The Hamburg native and the Hollywood star with German roots were a couple for two years. “I was very young, but it was a great relationship. It brought me a lot personally,” Garrn once said in the “OMR” podcast. She had never been with him to get a professional advantage, but she also made it clear. “He just has nothing to do with what I do for a living. He never helped me with anything. I wasn’t on the carpet with him,” she explained.
The engagement to Pettyfer followed on Christmas 2019. A little later, the two said yes in Hamburg for the first time, and their daughter Luca was born in 2021. The second wedding followed on Paros 2022.
