When two cars collided in the Warendorf district, two people were seriously injured and one person was slightly injured. An 83-year-old driver wanted to turn onto Kreisstraße 38 coming from Saasenberg-Füchtorf when he collided with the car of a 19-year-old. The 83-year-old and his 70-year-old passenger were trapped in their car and rescued by rescue workers. The man was taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter. The 70-year-old and the slightly injured 19-year-old were also taken to the hospital. District Road 38 was closed for several hours.
