Alone for almost ten years, but not lonely: In an interview with the magazine “Bunte”, actress Jutta Speidel (69) revealed that she still appreciates her single existence. “I really enjoy arranging my life the way I want it. Being able to rely on yourself is a really great experience.”
However, Speidel does not rule out falling in love again: “You never know what the future will bring. But when I look at the men around 70, they all seem much older than I feel. And I don’t know if I want that.” She has admirers, “but my heart has to be conquered and that hasn’t happened in a long time”.
The need for tenderness and eroticism has not yet left her life, but she has become older and calmer, says Speidel: “I always had to love hard before I went to bed with a man anyway.” Even as a young woman, she gave up one-night stands – it was never hers.
But what she loves to do without in old age are cosmetic procedures. “I reject Botox,” explains the 69-year-old from Munich in an interview. “I’m not injecting a neurotoxin into my face that my body might never get rid of! Also, I like my wrinkles, I’ve laughed them off myself over the years.”
For her, her face is a mirror of all her experiences. “I’m grateful that I’m still here, that I can live and that I can draw from a wealth of experience. It all depends on the soul and whether you have a big heart.” With this setting you don’t get any hanging wrinkles at the corners of the mouth.
