Because of an American football broadcast, Jan Köppen (40) alongside his presenter colleague Sonja Zietlow (55) welcomed viewers to a “Quickie” edition of the RTL Jungle at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday. But in just under 40 minutes there was something for fans of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” a lot to see – including the next exit.

First, the station dedicated itself to the nightly return of Mike Heiter (31) and Leyla Lahouar (27) from a treasure hunt. The two’s little excursion caused concerns among Heiter’s reality ex and camp troublemaker Kim Virginia (28) in the last issue. She convinced herself that nothing would happen. Meanwhile, fellow camper Fabio Knez (30) wouldn’t put his hand in the fire because “there was nothing there.” In fact, the two didn’t get as close as Lahouar apparently would have liked. “As far as I’m concerned, there could have been a kiss,” she now revealed.

While there was at least a bit of a crackle between Heiter and Lahouar, there is ice age between him and Kim Virginia. When the reality TV participant was briefly alone with her former flame, he largely ignored her. She tried to start a private conversation with Heiter, but he blocked her completely. “Just keep quiet is the best,” he said. He doesn’t feel like chatting with her about his private life. Kim asked Virginia whether he really just wanted to “ignore” her, but her ex no longer warmed up to her.

The drama trio was at least happy that Lucy Diakovska (47) and David Odonkor (39), who were chosen by the candidates for the jungle test, delivered. Locked in small chambers and, as is typical for a jungle camp, covered in rats, lizards and cockroaches, they had to find suitable keys to locks. For the first time in the current season, her outstanding performance received full points of – in this case – ten stars. Despite being happy about the good result, Lahouar was “a bit ashamed” because she had abandoned the same test a week ago.

After Cora Schumacher (47) voluntarily moved out after just a few days in the TV jungle, designer Sarah Kern (56) was the first candidate to leave on Saturday. On January 28th it was the turn of ex-“Germany’s Next Top Model” participant Anya Elsner (20) as she received the fewest calls from the audience.

RTL will show the next edition tomorrow Monday from 10:15 p.m. on TV and via RTL.
