Matthias Opdenhövel (53) returns with a new edition of his former VOX show “Do you have any sounds?” back. Sat.1 is showing six new episodes of “Do you have sounds?” with the original cast, as the station announced on Monday. “Finally a ‘Hast Du Töpfen’ revival! With the original title, original presenter, and we even got the original band ‘Tönlein Brilliant’ back together,” says Opdenhövel happily. “I feel like I’m with the Blues Brothers. Rawhide! If you don’t know the song, you’ll have a lot to learn soon… I’m really looking forward to it!”

According to the press release, in the new edition of the music show, the music knowledge of three celebrity duos will be put to the test in several rounds of games. Who recognizes the songs from the first notes or in fast forward or just from a single instrument? “With ‘Do you have any sounds?’ After the successful ‘The 1% Quiz’ and ‘The Floor’, we are relying on another strong quiz brand for the Sat.1 prime time on Thursday,” explains Sat.1 station manager Marc Rasmus. It starts in spring 2024 on Sat.1 and on Joyn.

Opdenhövel moderated “Do you have any sounds?” at VOX between 1999 and 2001. Most recently, “The Lions’ Den” presenter Amiaz Habtu (46) hosted a new edition of the music show entitled “Let the music play” on Sat.1 the evening before. However, the ratings fell short of expectations.
