Surf instructor and model Sarah Brady has accused Jonah Hill of emotional abuse. The two were in a relationship for about a year, and they largely kept the relationship out of the public eye. After the breakup last summer, Brady says he’s only now ready to talk about it openly.

On her Instagram profile, the surfer shared several recordings and screenshots of messages that Hill is said to have sent her during their time together. In it, the actor instructs the surfer to delete photos of herself in a bikini from her Instagram profile. He also expects, according to the unverified messages shared by his ex-girlfriend, not to surf with strange men.

“This is a warning to all girls. If your partner talks to you like this, make an escape plan. Call me if you need a listening ear,” Brady wrote. She also posted messages showing she had listened to Hill. So she deleted various photos and videos of herself.

Hill told her it was “a good start” but was reportedly never satisfied. “It’s not my job to lecture you. I’ve made my boundaries clear,” Brady said. “You refuse to let go of some of these and you’ve made that clear and I hope it makes you happy,” he wrote, according to her.

Brady’s screenshots show that his demands on her as his girlfriend were enormous. Prohibited was: “Surfing with men. Unlimited, inappropriate friendships with men. Modeling. Posting pictures of you in a bathing suit. Posting sexual images. Friendships with women who are in unsafe places and stem from your wild recent past, that go beyond lunch or coffee or something respectful. I’m not the right partner for you,” he allegedly wrote to her. Brady not only calls Hill a narcissist, but also a misogynist.

Brady’s revelations have sparked a discussion online. The surfer has received a lot of encouragement from other women who have had similar experiences. In particular, the fact that Hill of all people celebrated success with a documentary about his therapies annoys many. “Jonah Hill, who is making a lavish and adorable documentary about his therapist (and possibly crossing ethical boundaries with their friendship), takes on a whole new aura when you watch the news as he tries to use therapy language to enslave his then-girlfriend “, put it a Twitter user.

Jonah Hill has yet to comment on his ex-girlfriend’s allegations.
