Special appearance for Oliver Pocher (45): The 45-year-old is coming to the Vienna Opera Ball with musician Heino (85) on February 8th, it has now been announced. A statement says that manager Helmut Werner (39) managed to guide the comedian and cult star Heino into his box at the Vienna Opera Ball for his host Markus Deussl.
It is not Oliver Pocher’s first appearance at the event. He was already at the Vienna Opera Ball in 2014. At that time he made negative headlines after he got into a fight with Richard Lugner’s (91) star guest Kim Kardashian (43).
Now Pocher, who has recently been in the headlines because of his separation from wife Amira (31), will appear at the event with Heino. His manager Helmut Werner announced last Wednesday (January 31) that the 85-year-old singer was coming to the Vienna Opera Ball. It is a first for Heino, because at the invitation of the German entrepreneur Markus Deussl he will attend the state ball for the very first time. At the same time, it is Heino’s first major social appearance in public after the death of his long-time wife Hannelore (1942-2023) last fall.
Heino has mixed feelings about the event. “Hannelore actually wanted to go to the opera ball with me several times, but unfortunately it never happened,” said the musician. “I am now 85 years old and would like to experience this event,” he adds. And further: “I am grateful to Markus Deussl and Helmut Werner that I can experience this again and I am looking forward to a good time in Vienna, with both a laughing and a crying eye.” The inviting entrepreneur shows his understanding: “I would like to see the great folk singer smile again. It’s certainly not an easy time for Heino at the moment, so a little change is very good,” says Deussl.
