Sofia Vergara (51) relies on the old-fashioned way of dating. Six months after her separation from Joe Manganiello (47), the “Griselda” star is apparently in a flirty mood again. When asked if she used dating apps, she told the Daily Mail: “No,” but she wished she could. “I don’t know much about technology, so I would definitely click on the wrong people. I’m open to having fun and meeting people,” said the actress, adding: “It’s only been six months.”
The 51-year-old also explained that she has now lived longer in the United States than in her home country of Colombia. “But I’m still very Latin American. I work out to Latin music. Latin music plays in my car. My friends – my close friends – are either my cousins or the ones I met in kindergarten,” Vergara said in the interview. “So now I need a husband,” she then said, before clarifying: “No, I don’t need a husband, I want one.” And further: “It doesn’t even have to be a husband. A partner,” she continued.
At the end of January, the former “Modern Family” star caused a stir with an interview with the Spanish daily newspaper “El Pais”. She described her “gigantic breasts” and her “stunning figure” as the initial “door opener” and her “admission ticket to the world”. Years ago, her looks would have given her the opportunity to gain a foothold in Hollywood. At the same time, Vergara attributes her path to success to her acting talent and courage. She is not afraid to take career risks.
After Vergara demonstrated her comedy talent with “Modern Family” between 2009 and 2020, you can now experience a different side of her in the Netflix series “Griselda”. She plays the infamous Colombian drug trafficker Griselda Blanco, who was murdered in 2012.
