Two burst tires on a Eurowings plane triggered a major incident at Hamburg Airport. The cause of the incident initially remained unclear.
The tires burst when the plane landed, a police spokesman said. The plane came to a stop on the tarmac.
According to the airline Eurowings, the plane came from Gran Canaria. The 180 passengers and six crew members were not injured and were taken to the terminal by bus. The aircraft is being examined by technical staff.
The airline regretted the inconvenience and asserted that there was never any danger on board.
