The new mother of two Hazel Brugger (30) thanked her on Instagram “for the many messages and congratulations” she received after the birth of her second child. Alongside a picture showing the newborn’s feet, she wrote: “The last few days have been really special and we’re trying to enjoy every moment (as much as we can).” She added: “You always forget how small these babies are to begin with..” At the end of the post it says: “Ps one foot is still a little dark from the first footprint.” There are already numerous other congratulations in the comments on the post.

The couple had previously revealed that the comedian and her husband, author and comedian Thomas Spitzer (35), had become parents for the second time. “We have a new baby at home!” the two said in the latest episode of their podcast “Hazel Thomas Listening Experience”. They also revealed the gender of the baby in a joint conversation: “By the way, it’s a girl.”

The last six weeks before the birth were particularly difficult for the 30-year-old, who was barely able to leave the house due to severe back pain. The reason for this was the low position of the baby’s head, which “pressed on several nerve pathways”. The birth went all the faster, which, according to Brugger, was “very, very intense”. It only took 45 minutes from the first contraction until the child was born.

After the birth of her second daughter, Brugger was happier than ever in her life. “I really didn’t expect that I would feel so well after the birth,” said the entertainer, especially now that she knew what she had gotten herself into. Because “if you already know what that entails, it’s completely insane to do it again,” says the 30-year-old. Nevertheless, she is proud of herself for having the courage to “bring a child into the world” again. Her husband also confirms that Brugger seems “incredibly fulfilled and happy.”

Hazel Brugger and Thomas Spitzer have been married since 2020. The couple’s first daughter was born in March 2021.
