Simone Ballack (48) has, in her own words, taken on a completely new challenge with a role in Ralph Siegel’s (78) musical “A Little Peace – Summer of Love”. However, the ex-wife of professional footballer Michael Ballack (47) will not sing. “I’m still working on my singing career,” she told “Bild”. In the musical, Ballack plays the mother of the young musician Nina, who plays “Sturm der Liebe” star Jennifer Siemann (33).
Ballack now has to learn texts: “I’m a bit of a limelighter, but I’m a little scared of this challenge.” There is still some time until the film starts on May 8th, as Ballack has not played the role from the premiere. The 48-year-old replaced Annika Kärsten-Hoenig (38) a few days later. According to information from “Bild”, the idea of hiring Simone Ballack came from Siegel’s wife Laura (40).
