RTL is sticking with Motsi Mabuse (42), Jorge González (56) and Joachim Llambi (59): The contracts of the three “Let’s Dance” jurors were already extended last year – for several years, as González said in the Interview with the broadcaster reveals. Llambi adds: “We don’t change the jury like a pair of underpants. The viewer is not only looking forward to the new celebrities and the new professional dancers – but also to the constants.”
González is sure that the “Let’s Dance” jury is so well received by viewers because all three of them are so different. “We come from different backgrounds. Motsi and Mr. Llambi danced ourselves – I was never a dance professional myself. Motsi still has the dancer in him, Mr. Llambi the judge. These are different requirements. We also try not to be, like the others are,” says the entertainer.
Joachim Llambi has had a permanent place behind the jury’s desk since 2006 and is therefore the veteran of the popular dance show. Jorge González has been judging the celebrity dances since 2013. Motsi Mabuse started as a professional dancer on “Let’s Dance” in 2007 and has been on the jury since 2011.
The new and now 17th season of the RTL dance show starts on February 23rd with the “big introductory show” at 8:15 p.m. on RTL (or on RTL).
