When it suddenly became quiet on Renata Lusin’s (36) Instagram profile and then her husband Valentin (37) canceled his participation in the “Let’s Dance” show on Friday evening (March 22nd), many already suspected: the professional dancer’s baby The couple is apparently on the way. Now the two have officially confirmed the birth of their first child together.

The official Instagram account of “Let’s Dance” says: “Little Stella was born on March 21st weighing 3,900 grams and 56 cm.” Mother and child are doing well. There is also a first photo of the new parents with their baby from the hospital. “I am the happiest dancer in the world,” Valentin Lusin is quoted as saying.

As the couple revealed to the “Bild” newspaper, the first contractions started on Tuesday and they went to the hospital around 5 p.m. “The birth was strenuous and lasted over two days,” Renata Lusin told the newspaper. It was “more strenuous than any ‘Let’s Dance’ season and any World Cup.” In the end, you quickly forget all the pain. “We are simply overjoyed. There are no words to describe this happiness that she is finally with us,” said Renata Lusin.

And Valentin Lusin also raves: “It’s unbelievable what a woman’s body can do in this situation! We’re incredibly happy, but also incredibly tired.”

The dancer couple Lusin has been part of the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance” since 2018. Valentin Lusin won the show in 2023 together with Anna Ermakova (24) and is dancing with Ann-Kathrin Bendixen (24) this year. Renata won in 2021 with Rúrik Gíslason (36), but she is missing from the current 17th season due to her pregnancy. The professional dancer sat out the 16th season due to pregnancy, but suffered a miscarriage.
