A veritable war of roses has been raging between Hollywood star Kevin Costner (68) and his 18-year-old wife, Christine Baumgartner (49), for a long time. After a judge previously ordered Baumgartner to move out of the star’s home by July 31, she actually packed her bags and started the move just before the deadline.

New footage available to the US portal “TMZ” shows several moving trucks stopping in front of Costner’s ocean-view house in Carpinteria, Southern California. Baumgartner can be seen in the pictures. She obviously monitors herself that nothing goes wrong when moving her belongings.

Previously, there had been conflicts, some of them public, over weeks and months about Baumgartner’s move from the formerly divided property. Initially, she wanted to live there longer than originally stipulated in the marriage contract. Costner, on the other hand, insisted on the schedule laid down there. Ultimately, a judge ordered Baumgartner to be gone by July 31.

There had also been bitter arguments in court about furnishings. Ultimately, it was decided that Baumgartner would be allowed to take all of her clothing, toiletries, handbags, and jewelry with her when she moved out. However, she is not allowed to pack other furniture, electrical appliances and works of art – unless she gets permission from Kevin Costner to do so.

In addition to the disputes between the soon-to-be ex-husbands about Baumgartner’s move, there was also the question of maintenance for their children. Here the court ordered that Costner had to temporarily transfer his estranged wife almost 130,000 US dollars (approx. 118,000 euros) a month. In November, the court will then decide whether the marriage contract is valid at all. Even with Baumgartner’s departure, this War of the Roses will not be over for a long time.
