At the end of August they make the pilgrimage back to Northamptonshire, the 15,000 fans of the Shambala festival. For four days they celebrate there, halfway between London and Birmingham, with around 200 artists and bands on 13 stages. Hip-hop, pop, folk, dance, electro, reggae, world music – there is hardly a genre that is not represented there. Only meat is omitted. And on milk. And glitter in the colorful costumes. Because none of this is good for the environment and the climate.
