An employee of a swimming pool near Mannheim was injured in an argument with two drunk guests. As the police announced on Sunday, the staff at the pool in Weinheim (Rhein-Neckar district) asked the 19-year-old and the 20-year-old to leave the pool after it closed on Saturday around midnight. The two bathers are said to have initially behaved verbally aggressively and then become violent.

According to the police, they attacked the five workers with pepper spray. An employee was reportedly knocked over backwards and hit his head on the ground. He sustained a head laceration and was taken to a hospital. The other employees fixed the two unruly guests until the police came. The 19-year-old and the 20-year-old are now facing ads for dangerous bodily harm, among other things.
