Pietro Lombardi and Chris Tall dueled on TV: In the ProSieben show “Schlag den Star” the musician and the comedian competed against each other live on ProSieben on Saturday evening. In the end, Chris Tall was able to celebrate, after twelve games he clearly triumphed over Lombardi with 68:12. The winner of what the broadcaster calls “the shortest edition of ‘Schlag den Star'” can look forward to 100,000 euros. As usual, Elton led the evening while Ron Ringguth commented.

According to ProSieben, winner Chris Tall explained afterwards: For Pietro and him, the most important thing was “doing a cool show. We wanted to entertain”. The comedian added, “We wanted to be Pietro that he is. We wanted to be Chris that I am. And we’ve been that all along. We’re in as friends, we’re out as friends. I’m incredibly happy now to have had this legendary case of money in my hand.”

Pietro Lombardi, meanwhile, shows himself to be a fair loser. In his Instagram stories, the musician congratulates Chris Tall on his victory after the TV show. The 31-year-old explained: “It just wasn’t meant to be for me today. Something was weird.” But the singer also says: “No excuses”. Both would have had the same games and chances. His opponent was “more focused and concentrated” and deserved to win. He was also “zero sad,” said Lombardi.

The broadcaster’s message also says of Pietro Lombardi: “I’m so disappointed in myself because I didn’t get the blackout out. I wasn’t there today, I have to accept that. There are no excuses either. Chris won fairly. I just wasn’t where I was supposed to be, so invite me back next year – all good things come in threes.”

In the next issue of “Schlag den Star”, on September 30, comedian Michael Mittermeier will compete against his colleague Olaf Schubert, as ProSieben also announced.
