An e-bike rider in Viechtach suffered life-threatening injuries in a fall. The 56-year-old drove down a slightly sloping road near Schwiebleinsberg on Saturday and fell without outside involvement, the police said on Sunday. He suffered “serious injuries, especially in the head area”. The man was not wearing a helmet. A rescue helicopter took the man to a hospital.
