The red swimsuit that Pamela Anderson wore during Baywatch is now legendary. The bright color, the high leg cut.
It is still in the actress’ possession to this day, safely stored in her walk-in closet. But that should change soon, as the 56-year-old revealed in an interview with “People Magazine”.
She wants to “make space” for her “new life.” This also means that she wants to clean out her closet properly. In addition to the swimsuit, other iconic items of clothing are set to find a new owner.
“I don’t like wasting anything. I’d rather clear my mind, clean out my closet. I can’t wait for others to enjoy these pieces.”
Her style has “undoubtedly changed” over the years. That’s why she’s happy “when others find the joy that I had.” There is “no reason” for Anderson to hold on to the pieces. “These memories are made to be shared.”
As People reports, there is no start date yet for Anderson to begin selling.
Anderson recently appeared unusually private in the Netflix documentary “Pamela: A Love Story”. Their restart is also documented there.
The portal “Netflixwoche” summarizes it like this: “After a global career and six failed marriages, Pamela Anderson, in her mid-50s, returns to where she grew up: to the Canadian town of Ladysmith, which has 9,000 souls. ‘Like a salmon going to the… “When you die comes home again,” she says.”
But in reality, this move does not mean a step backwards. In early 2022, she made her Broadway debut in the play “Chicago” and was praised by critics.
In her new phase of life, she is likely to collect new clothing with history, not least her black bodysuit that she wore at the “Chicago” premiere.
