Cyndi Lauper Announces North American Farewell Tour for Fall
Cyndi Lauper, the iconic Grammy Award-winning pop singer, has recently announced her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour, set to take place in North America this fall. The tour will kick off on October 18 in Montreal, Quebec, and will continue through December 5, concluding in Chicago, Illinois. This marks Cyndi Lauper’s first major tour in a decade, and it is named after her breakout single ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ from her debut album ‘She’s So Unusual’ released in 1983.
In addition to the North American tour, Cyndi Lauper has scheduled a one-night performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 26, her first solo show in the UK in eight years. She will also be gracing the Pyramid Stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. Alongside these performances, a new documentary titled ‘Let The Canary Sing,’ which narrates Lauper’s life story, will premiere on Paramount+ in North America on June 4, followed by releases in various countries across the globe.
