Two hours prior to commencement of the presentation of the Ivanka Trump this Tuesday at CES, dozens of people stood in line to get a room in the large hall of the hotel Venetian in Las Vegas. Their participation has caused expectations and controversy in equal parts.
After the announcement that Trump would participate in the fair, different experts from the technology industry criticized the decision. The majority argued that women had more experience in the industry and more qualified to do so. “This is a terrible choice on many levels, but also an insult to the years of protests by the few women who have been invited to the keynote and said that it was a base problem, while men in a similar situation were promoted”, tweeted the commentator of technology Rachel Sklar.

The analyst technology Carolina Milanesi expressed his disagreement in a column published last December 31 in Forbes: “The reason for my disgust is based on the fact that there are many more women who are dedicated to the technology and they are entrepreneurs that could be circling around Trump on how the technology will impact the future of work”.

Companies must invest in training your current workforce so that those people can continue to play their morning’s work although using different computers,” he explained.
The university, as has been emphasised, is not the most appropriate way for all young people: companies should look more carefully at the skills at the time of hire and less on the titles.
