A woman’s body was discovered in a forest near Bad-Emstal in the Kassel district. The police did not rule out foul play on Thursday evening, but the cause of death was still unclear. The area where the body was found was cordoned off in order to secure traces. “The criminal police have started investigations on site,” the police said. “Making foul play cannot be ruled out at this point.”
The police had previously searched the forest area for a 14-year-old girl who had been missing since Wednesday. It initially remained unclear whether the body was that of the teenager.
