Shane van Gisbergen, former champion of the Australian Supercars series, has won the first race for the WRX-E-sports-series on the virtual Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Charles Leclerc, the Ferrari Star in the formula 1, put in his virtual Rallycross debut a series of wild deposits, including a Rollover.
In his first Qualifying race, Leclerc was involved in the first corner in an accident, and began a 10-second time penalty. He drove back on the track that the game recognized a Abbreviate.
In the second Qualifying race of the Monegasque spun his Peugeot 208, as he slammed to Complete his Joker lap in the rear of the two-time DTM champion Timo Scheider.
In Q3, he had a spectacular Rollover, as he took off on a curb. Before the last Qualifying session he was 15. Only the top ten drivers of qualifying the semi-finals.
In the fourth and final Qualifying race was able to escape Leclerc finally, the Chaos and won the race. In the E-Sport category, won by Quentin Dall’olmo followed by Lukas Mateja and his brother Killian Dall’olmo, the master of DiRT-rally-2.0-world series.
The next of the four runs for the of Motorsport Games organized by WRX-E-sports-series will take place on 21. May on the virtual Rallycross track in the Norwegian city of Light instead.
