France has recorded 13 deaths in hospitals in connection with the epidemic of Covid-19 on the last 24 hours, the balance sheet daily, the lowest since 14 march, before containment, according to the government website Sunday. The total number of deaths now stands at 29 155 in France since the beginning of the epidemic, including 18 805 to the hospital and 10 350 in long-term care facilities and other medico-social establishments (the balance for this sector has not been updated since 2 June).

The number of people hospitalized in serious condition in the icu continues to decrease, with 6 patients in less than 24 hours, 1 053, depending on what balance updated Sunday. This figure is the lowest since march 18.
Decline in standing of the number of people in the icu
He continues his decline in standing since the beginning of April, where the peak in the icu had been reached with more than 7 000 patients in serious condition (for a national capacity in the intensive care unit of the order of 5 000 beds before the crisis). These figures have been put online on the website of the government, while the Directorate-general of Health (DGS) announced Friday that it will publish, for its part, no new balance sheet during the weekend.

While France has started in the beginning of the week the second phase of the déconfinement, after having put in place a containment unpublished of the population during the two months between 17 march and 11 may, the epidemic of Covid-19 is “largely controlled” in the country, confirmed on Sunday the chairman of the scientific council, professor Jean-François Delfraissy.
