On Sunday, Hezbollah attacked Israel from Lebanon with artillery and guided missiles and described the attack as an act of “solidarity” with the Palestinian Hamas, which had launched a major attack on Israel the day before. The Israeli army responded to the shelling with artillery fire on positions in southern Lebanon.
