Poland has just done an arm of honour to the european Union by renewing for a second term as the president Andrzej Duda, a sovereignist conservative supported by the PiS, the nationalist party majority. But Friday and Saturday, it is in a position to quémandeur that the same Poland came to Brussels to participate in the european Council, which, for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic Covid-19, will bring together in person the heads of State and government of the EU.
The european Union should continue to fund generously a member State which does not comply with the common rules…
