After the drop in temperatures, autumn is showing even more of its unpleasant side this week. In the middle of the week, a depression will appear that will cause significantly more changeable weather, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Monday in Offenbach. Then it rains in many places, sometimes accompanied by wind.

It was only at the weekend that a cold front in Germany caused a noticeable change in temperature. Winter motifs could even be seen on the Brocken, where hoar frost formed on Monday at temperatures of minus one degree.

On the other hand, it will be particularly autumnal in some areas on Tuesday morning, as the fog will remain persistent. Once it has cleared up, it will usually be a pleasant day with maximum temperatures between 9 and 15 degrees. In the southwest and south it will be partly cloudy but dry. In the rest of the republic the sun can be seen for a longer period of time.

Similar temperatures will continue on Wednesday, but in the west and southwest there will be rain in some areas. It can also blow freshly in the west and in the mountains. Otherwise, the fog often persists again in the morning, after which the sky becomes cloudy with longer sunny periods.

There will be a jump in temperature in the south and west on Friday, to 15 to 21 degrees. In the northeast, on the other hand, there is constant rain with temperatures between 7 and 13 degrees, and in the southeast it also rains at times. The wind is also blowing fresh again at times.
