The United Nations has warned of significant sanitary defects of the schools in the fight against the disease COVID-19. About 818 million children do not have wash in their schools the necessary Devices for hands, declared the world health organization (WHO) and the children’s Fund of the United Nations (UNICEF) in Geneva.
Around 295 million of the affected children of the Sahara originated from the Africa to the South. The WHO and Unicef said that around 355 million kids go to schools that have Laundry facilities, but in which no soap was present. Around 462 million girls and boys schools visited, the taps no water, or no water would have. Further, the two organizations noted that a good thirty percent of all schools could offer their students no drinking water.
Hygiene as a Central strategy
The access to water and sanitary facilities should include the key strategies of all governments that want to open in the Corona-pandemic in their schools, said the WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
