Marie BarbeyChpuis, the new mayor of Geneva, will take office on Wednesday June 1st 2022-2023. She succeeds Verte Frederique perler. Alfonso Gomez, an environmentalist, is elected vice-presidency. The current position of Alfonso Gomez is that of the head of the city’s sports and security department. This is the first time a Christian Democrat has been elected to this office. In Geneva, it takes the form of rounds among the magistrates.
