The Junta de Castilla y León will resolve imminently a call for 27 million euros in aid for investment in the food industry and on August 31 another call for an amount of 68 million is due, the largest in history.

This was announced yesterday at the II Congress of the Food Industry of Castilla y León, organized by Vitartis in Valladolid, by the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, who advanced that the regional administration is planning a disbursement of 140 million euros in aid to the sector for the next five years to advance essential objectives for the Community such as job creation, modernization, increased competitiveness, market orientation and innovation and digitization.

In addition, Mañueco stressed that the Board wants to improve the financing conditions for industrial projects and food companies.
