The oppositions to the body of teachers of Castilla-La Mancha start this Saturday with 1,035 places at stake with a total of 11,249 applicants, 962 of them free shift and 73 for people with disabilities.

Specifically, 190 places will be distributed in the free shift in Primary Education, 95 in Therapeutic Pedagogy, 64 in Hearing and Language, 174 in Early Childhood Education, 277 in English, 8 in French, 95 in Physical Education and 59 more in Music.

As for places for people with disabilities, 13 are offered in Primary, 7 in Therapeutic Pedagogy, 5 in Hearing and Language, 11 in Infant, 22 in English, 3 in French, 7 in Physical Education and 5 in Music.

The English and Music tests will be held in Albacete, while the Physical Education and Hearing and Language tests will take place in Ciudad Real capital in Puertollano.

In Cuenca they will deal with tests for Primary; Therapeutic Pedagogy will be held in Guadalajara, Children in Toledo and French in Talavera de la Reina.

SANITARY PROTOCOL

The Minister of Education of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, Rosa Ana Rodríguez, has reported that the anti-Covid security protocol designed for the occasion is marked by the recommendation of the use of the mask, without being mandatory but recommended, especially in cases where applicants have symptoms.

In addition, each venue will have an isolation room so that infected people can face the exam; and access to all classrooms will be staggered for one hour.

As Rodríguez explained at a press conference, the test for specific knowledge of the specialty will take place on Saturday, pending a second test, on a date yet to be determined, on the pedagogical skills of the applicants, which will consist of the presentation of a didactic program and oral presentation of a unit.
