The second vice president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Héctor Illueca (Podemos), has blamed NATO for the invasion of Ukraine, one more example of the rejection of the purple formation at the Atlantic Alliance summit in Madrid.
“If NATO did not exist, the war in Ukraine would not have happened. What are the dividends? War escalation, economic recession and risk of famine in the world. Society must demonstrate for peace and show its rejection of NATO », he has spread on social networks to introduce a video in which he provides more arguments for his reasoning.
“Mobilize yourselves” is his message to encourage society to express its rejection against the military union of Western countries, which will send delegations to the Spanish capital on June 28 and 29.
Although Illueca acknowledges in a tweet that Russia’s “responsibility” in this war conflict, the regional leader believes that the invasion of Ukraine was “almost inevitable” by NATO and its approach to the borders with Russia.
The message from the member of the autonomous government of Ximo Puig highlights the differences between Podemos and the PSOE in Spain’s position before the war and the meeting of representatives of the Atlantic Alliance in the Spanish capital.
“I want to denounce the NATO summit that is going to be held in Madrid,” Illueca urges, against sending weapons from the front that could have an impact on less public investment in Spain in Social Services.
