A pack of gummy bears was to blame for the early end of their trip, as the Washington Post reports. Accordingly, the holidaymaker was stopped by security because of a nail clipper – and searched more closely. The employees of the cruise company Carnival Cruise Line found a pack of gummy bears with added CBD – i.e. hemp as an ingredient.
According to Van Veldhuizen, he had them with him so he could sleep better. In the end, the cute little bears probably achieved exactly the opposite, because they are the reason why the passenger was not allowed to go on the booked cruise. However, the nurse still had to cover the travel costs – and on top of that she was banned from the entire shipping company for life, as the newspaper quoted her lawyer as saying.
