Drew Barrymore (47) gives a special insight into her privacy. The actress has been single since 2016. From 2012 to 2016 she was married to Will Kopelman (44) in her third marriage. On her blog, she has now announced that she has not been in an “intimate relationship” since her marriage. “I’ve had the honor and pleasure of working on myself and learning what parenting means,” she said of her final years. She understood through a therapist that “sex is not love”. It is the “expression of love”.
“At almost 48, I have a very different relationship to intimacy than I did growing up. I didn’t have model parents and I’ve been acting like an adult since a very young age,” Barrymore openly admitted. She can no longer change her past, so she tries to look at it in a “positive light”.
Drew Barrymore has been married three times. From 1994 to 1995 she was married to bar owner Jeremy Thomas. In 2001, the marriage to comedian Tom Green (51) followed – in 2002 this also broke up. The 47-year-old was married to Kopelman the longest before they went their separate ways in 2016. Barrymore has two daughters with him, Olive (10) and Frankie (8).
