The royals ring in the most wonderful time of the year in London. Princess Kate (41) once again invited people to her Christmas concert in Westminster Abbey this Friday evening, to which many high-ranking members of the British royal family appeared in their elegant Christmas wardrobe. Kate’s husband Prince William (41) and their three children also came hand in hand to the festively decorated church in London.
For this year’s concert, Kate chose a tone-on-tone look all in snow white, which consisted of wide Marlene trousers with gold buttons, a simple sweater and a long wool coat. The accessories used were a white handbag with a handle, silver hanging earrings and beige suede pumps. As usual, Kate wore her brunette hair open and slightly wavy.
William appeared in front of Westminster Abbey in a midnight blue suit, with a white shirt and a dark red tie. Daughter Princess Charlotte (8) picked up the Christmas burgundy red with her coat dress. Her two brothers Prince George (10) and Prince Louis (5) came in a dark blue suit like dad William. It was little Louis’ first Christmas concert. Before the three children got to the official part, they stopped at the red mailbox where they dropped their homemade Christmas cards in.
The contemplative celebration was captured on Kate and William’s official Instagram account with some photos from the church. With lit candles in hand, some Christmas carols were sung, William also gave a speech and Kate spoke to some of the children present. It was a “special evening” with “many wonderful people”.
Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton (40) and her husband James Matthews (48), Princess Beatrice (35) and Princess Eugenie (33), Duchess Sophie (58) and Lady Gabriella Windsor (42) also appeared at the Christmas concert.
As in previous years, the event was recorded this Friday and will be broadcast on Christmas Eve as part of a special program on ITV.
