There are people who are handed a chocolate bar when the corners of their mouth droop, they always put me in the sun. As the days get darker and darker in autumn, at some point my mood darkens and a feeling of withdrawal spreads. I’ve known that for a long time. And I also had the explanation for this in mind early on: If plants need sunlight to thrive, then it shouldn’t come as a surprise to me that every year in winter I have the feeling that the energy is being given to me as soon as I get up suck it out of the body again with a gigantic straw. I’m not alone with that. Every fourth person is regularly overcome by the winter blues.
