Breitenbach am Herzberg, in a rear-end collision on the right lane in the direction of Kassel.
A 33-year-old driver from Fulda noticed the floor traffic on the right lane too late and drove his Truck Sprinter in an avoidance maneuver the front end of the vehicle, a 47-year-old from Chemnitz. This was pushed then with his Sprinter on the front end of the motorhome of a couple from the wartburgkreis, this just came in from vacation and on the way home was located. A subsequent 55-year-old sprint driver, also from Fulda, couldn’t brake in time and went again to the accident damaged Sprinter on the right lane.
At the time of the accident no one was hurt. Three vehicles involved were heavily damaged and had to be towed. The outlet end of the supplies were tied up by the highway maintenance Agency Alsfeld and recorded.
During the process of clearing the highway for about 1.5 hours and was closed fully.
Due to the full closure of the traffic back up to about 10 kilometres and provided for a further two hours for traffic in the direction of Kassel.
The resulting damage to property amounts to approximately 30,000 Euro.
