Major traffic delays caused by a crash involving 15 cars in Brisbane CBD this morning due to wet weather.
People have been experiencing up to four hours delays due to the major pileup on the Pacific Highway northbound at Greenslopes at 6am.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, six people were taken to hospital with injuries while seven other patients were evaluated.
One person is believed to have been trapped in the car after sustaining a knee injury.
Queensland Police Senior Sergeant Todd Sucic stated that no one was injured seriously.
“There were some injuries from the traffic accident. They were taken to the local hospitals for treatment, but they did not sustain any serious injuries.”
Commuters headed to Brisbane were warned by the accident that blocked the Juliette Street exit at Greenslopes.
At Gaza Road, motorists were diverted.
