His slick shots in winning the 19-16 win in Tennessee last week are astonishment to everyone. McPherson turned on backup quarterback Brandon Allen, before attempting a 52-yard field kick in his last play.
He said, “I believe we’re going the AFC Championship Game.”

Evan McPherson developed self-confidence on the stage at a small church
McPherson doesn’t seem like there’s a bigger stage than McPherson, until he gets a true scoop from his first coach.
Amber McPherson said, “He was very, very shy.”
She is Evan’s mom and she is also the First Baptist Church of Fort Payne’s drama director. She pushed her middle child onto the stage in the skit 15 years ago.

Her amazing actor became a true ham. McPherson was not the best kicker in SEC history because of this property. Danny DeVito would be Danny DeVito if the existence of the stage were all that mattered.
Confidence is a must for any performer. Amber was able to take advantage of an opportunity that was presented on a different stage.
Evan was a freshman at Fort Payne High when he worked tirelessly to make a head and become a state champion in football. He was not the only one who showed his kick skills in football.
Logan is four years older than Evan, who was a state record holder with a field goal of 57 yards. His brothers were extremely competitive in all things. Evan wanted to be better than Logan when he graduated.

It worked, no matter what he did. Evan was the No. 1 kick recruiter with a 60-yard field shot. Evan was the No. 1 kick recruiter. Alex was handed the baton by Evan. Alex kicked a 61 yard man and signed Auburn.
