Heading to Valencia. Genoa today kicked off the Iacobus Maris, the longest Jacobean route in history organized by the Traslatio Foundation with the sponsorship of Xacobeo 2021-22. Surrounded by a massive public, the fleet said goodbye to the Italian town this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. to set sail for Valencia and cover the first 500 miles of the route that will take them to Galicia. In total, more than 20,000 people have visited over the weekend the ships and schooners that today have started the longest Jacobean route in history.
