Ime Udoka, the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat won Game 7 to secure a place in the NBA Finals

The Boston Celtics won their chance to play the Golden State Warriors at the 2022 NBA Finals. Nia Long couldn’t be happier.

Friday’s actress shared a video of herself dancing when the Celtics, coached and managed by Ime Udoka, won a win over the Miami Heat Sunday night to win their Eastern Conference Championship.

“Yes!!!” Long wrote the caption to the video. It has been viewed nearly 2,000,000 times on Twitter as of Monday night.

Long, 51, and Udoka (44), share a 10-year old son, Kez Sunday Udoka.

With a final score 100-96, the Celtics won Game 7 against the Heat. Jayson Tatum of Boston was named Eastern Conference Finals MVP.

Udoka is in his first year of being Boston’s head coach. He told Yahoo Sports that he believes his team can beat Stephen Curry and the Warriors during the NBA Finals.

He said, “We’ve been what we’ve always been all year, and our defense travels very well and helped us through the playoffs.”

“We have played Golden State well this season. He continued, “We blasted them at home, and suffered a hard loss at our house early in the season.” It’s a new series. We are confident in who we are, and what we do well.

The 2022 NBA Finals will start Thursday, with the Celtics travelling to San Francisco to take on the Warriors.

Udoka and Long have been together almost a decade. In 2020, Long shared with Essence that they don’t want to hold a wedding ceremony.

Long stated, “Love is complex. Let’s just get started.” “And then you start marriage, which I have never been married to.” There’s a reason, because I don’t know why I have to say “I do” to prove that I love you.

“But, also, what does marriage really [mean ]… you now own me and I own you]? She added. “I don’t get that part.”
