Peiting – Dennis Neal is the only new addition to the EC Peiting in this transfer period. He goes by the ECDC Memmingen to Peiting, where he played in season 2009/10 for a short period of time. In addition, the native of peißen Berger for the Tölzer lions, the “Eishackler” peißenberg, which now have to be trained again by his father, Randy Neal, and the HC Landsberg on delivery. The 28-year-old defender lives in Epfach, and in the Region is not Unknown. In this Interview, he talks about his exchange and heated duels.
Mr Neal, how it came to your exchange from Memmingen to Peiting?
The jump from the Bavaria League of Landsberg in the top League to Memmingen was super. Sporty, that was exactly what I needed. I have really enjoyed playing in Memmingen. But the Commute, with a simple range of around 50 minutes was with the family only difficult to reconcile. Right around Christmas my three children asked: “daddy when are you coming back from Training?” The heart was already breaking. I then stretched out during the season my sensor in the direction of Peiting, because that’s where the hockey for me is just better with the family and my Job in Schongau compatible.
what is your athletic was going to gear and what have you learned at your stations?
I was four years in the top League in Bad Tölz, then four in the Bavaria League with hohenpeißenberg and Landsberg, and finally back in the top League with Memmingen. I liked it when all of the Clubs good and I had stations a lot of fun on each of my. Each of them has helped me, and it was important for my development in the sport.
you have often played against Peiting. What are your memories of this Derby?
Against Peiting, it was always play hard, no matter whether abroad or at home. There were usually heated games. On both sides there was always top-solid goalkeeper performance. To play against Peiting has made me always a lot of fun.
there Was also special duels with Peitinger strikers?
In Tölzer times Manni Eichberger and Florian Stauder were my absolute “hate-enemy”. Not only the stock is technically strong, they were also physically present. Because it was demanded as a defender fully. Since a two-fight could hurt already.
Have you played with ECP-players together, and you know coach Sebastian Buchwieser?
I tried after my DNL time in Tölz eleven years ago, the jump to the ECP in the upper League. I am, but then quickly back to bad Tölz. From the time I’ve known Tim Rohrbach, Fabian Weyrich and Florian Stauder (is changed to feet, note. d. Red.). With coach Sebastian Buchwieser I’ve played Inline Hockey.
To the new ECP team, you can’t say so much. What is your assessment of what is possible and what you think about the top League?
With the ECP, I want to play already in the front. But I can’t say how strong the League will be in the coming season. With the Corona-pandemic you do not know exactly what the other clubs do. Thus, it can be a beautiful piñata.
How to keep yourself in the Corona-crisis fit?
I do a lot of Freeletics, so Training with your own body weight. This includes endurance training with Mountain running, Running or Cycling. I also have some dumbbells at home.
