FC Bayern Munich is apparently planning a second attempt to sign Harry Kane, the target striker. As reported by the English newspaper “Daily Mail” and pay-TV broadcaster Sky, the German record champions are working on a second offer to Tottenham Hotspur. According to the “Daily Mail”, this could amount to around 93 million euros plus bonus payments.
With the first offer of around 70 million euros, the people of Munich are said to have been turned down by Spurs a few days ago. According to Sky, Supervisory Board Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is the driving force in the negotiations from a Munich perspective.
Matthew: “Kane is well worth it”
Record national player Lothar Matthäus is sure that Bayern will go to the financial pain threshold for their dream player. “It won’t be cheap, this transfer, but after Haaland didn’t work out and everyone in the club thinks that you need a world-class striker, the club will at least go to the limits of what is possible and throw everything into the balance what the box office gives,” wrote Matthäus in his Sky column: “Kane is always worth it.”
